Immunizations

By the first day of school, all students attending Robbinsdale Area Schools must be in compliance with Minnesota immunization law.  On September 1, 2014 new immunization requirements for child care, early childhood programs and school entrance will take effect.

New School Immunization Requirements Include:

Hepatitis A and B vaccination for children enrolling in child care or early childhood programs.
Meningococcal
vaccination for secondary students, beginning in 7th grade.
Tdap
(tetanus-diptheria-pertussis) vaccination for secondary students, beginning in 7th grade.
Diptheria/Tetanus/Pertussis, Polio, MMR, Varicella and Hepatitis B are still required under the new immunization law.

Medical and conscientious exemptions are still allowed (see Student Immunization Form)

Student immunization records from a physician, public clinic, caregiver or previous school are acceptable for school notification.  Records must include specific month, day and year for each immunization.  Students will not be allowed to attend school until they are in compliance with current state health requirements.  Please bring all immunization records when registering your child for school.
