Robbinsdale Indian Education Parent Committee

The Robbinsdale Indian Education Parent Committee is a dedicated group of parents, grandparents, and caregivers of American Indian students. High school students are also encouraged to participate. The Parent Committee is comprised of at least two parents/caregivers, one teacher and one high school student. 

The Robbinsdale Indian Education Parent Committee meets monthly throughout the school year. The committee works to ensure that planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the operational and supplemental programs for American Indian students in Robbinsdale Area Schools. The committee serves as a vital link between the American Indian community and Robbinsdale Area Schools.

American Indian parents are strongly encouraged to take an active role in their child's education through this committee.

The Robbinsdale Indian Education Parent Committee is established in accordance with the Indian Education Act.
Parent Committee Roles and Responsibilities


Meetings are 6:00-8:00pm in the Indian Education Office (Room 2) at Robbinsdale Middle School (3730 Toledo Ave N. Minneapolis, 55422) Meetings are open to all Robbinsdale Indian Education parents and students. Each meeting includes reports about our education program and current events.
