Meet Grace

A dedicated actress, singer and scholar, Robbinsdale Armstrong High School senior Grace Busse is one of Robbinsdale Area Schools’ remarkable students.

After falling in love with theatre at a young age, Grace has dedicated herself to performing, having been cast in all 10 Armstrong productions since her freshman year. She also sings soprano in both the Armstrong Chamber Singers and Concert Choir, and recalls a moment from last year’s performance of Handel’s “Messiah” at the Annual Fall Festival at Orchestra Hall as a highlight of her time in high school.

“Standing on the stage of Orchestra Hall and watching people rise to their feet during the ‘Hallelujah’ chorus, everyone in choir just hit the gas pedal,” she says. “It was so cool. Performing in those fall concerts is unreal.”

Her passion isn’t limited to performing – the Advanced Placement Scholar maintains a high GPA, serves as secretary of Armstrong’s National Honor Society chapter, and volunteers with the LINK Crew, helping younger students get their bearings in high school.

“Grace brings a level of maturity to her roles – both on stage and as a student,” says Jenny Lovitt, her teacher and director. “Her work ethic is very strong. She’s a leader – she sets a high standard and is the first to affirm people.”

Grace is Robbinsdale. At Robbinsdale Area Schools, we value the differences that make all of our students unique. We approach our work with individual focus on each and every student’s infinite potential.
