About Dr. Aldo Sicoli

Dr. Aldo Sicoli has been superintendent of Robbinsdale Area Schools since July 1, 2009. Sicoli came to Robbinsdale Area Schools from the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage school district where he served as assistant superintendent since 2006. Prior to that, Dr. Sicoli also served as principal of Edina High School and Valley View Middle School in Edina; assistant principal and head principal at Henry Sibley High School, Mendota Heights; and head principal at Lincoln East High School in Lincoln, Nebraska. Dr. Sicoli also worked as a teacher for eight years, teaching social studies and business education courses at two high schools.
Dr. Sicoli holds a doctorate degree in education policy and administration from the University of Minnesota, a master’s degree in teaching from the College of St. Thomas, a master’s degree in business administration from Texas Tech University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and child psychology from the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Sicoli believes in visiting the schools regularly to meet and interact with staff and students. He is very visible in our schools and in our communities, and relishes the chance to recognize students' and staff's accomplishments whenever possible.
