The Achievement and Integration/College and Career Readiness department has an exciting opportunity for our amazing students. 
The Career & College NOW! Summer Academy is a tuition-free program providing incoming 9th through 12th-grade students the opportunity to prepare for college. Students in the program will take college and/or career courses during the 6-week program. The program will be held from June 15th through July 30th, 2020. Click here for more information.

Federal and state laws require that English language learners (ELL) students be assessed annually to measure their proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking English, as well as the progress they are making in learning English. In fulfillment of these laws, ELL students in Minnesota are required to participate in ACCESS for ELLs tests.  ACCESS is based on the WIDA (World-Class Instructional Design and Assessment) English Language Development standards. Armstrong offers one of the largest Advanced 
Placement (AP) programs in the state of Minnesota.  College credit can be earned in AP courses offered in English, Social Studies, Science, Math, Global Language, Art and Music  In 2019, 741 students took 1257 AP exams.  460 students scored 3 or greater on their AP exams, with an overall school wide passing rate of 62%.
