Adapted Soccer

The mission of the adapted soccer team is to give players that have a cognitive disability an opportunity to participate and experience what it is like to be on a varsity team and compete with other schools with players that have similar disabilities. The emphasis of the season is having fun with boys and girls from various schools in the area and walking away with a feeling that I’m glad I did this.

I choose to coach this sport because I enjoy working with the students that have the disability that qualifies them for this sport. Seeing the enjoyment that players show during and after practices and games makes it something special to be coaching.
