Trudy KaiserTrudy Kaiser has been named the Robbinsdale Area Schools 2019 Education Assistant (EA) of the Year.

Ms. Kaiser has served students, staff and families for the past 21 years in various schools including Sunny Hollow Elementary, Neill Elementary and currently the School of Engineering and Arts (SEA).

"Working with children is very rewarding,” said Ms. Kaiser. “I appreciate being recognized for something I love to do," she continued.

Ms. Kaiser’s skills are utilized in a variety of areas including traffic controller in the school parking lot, engaging with students and monitoring safety on the playground, and tutoring students in the classroom.

"I feel fortunate to work along-side Trudy,” said Dr. Heather Hanson, SEA Principal. “She is dedicated to students and puts her entire heart into what she does each and everyday,” she said.

"Trudy represents our members well with her commitment to students and our community,” said Judie Bomchill, RFT EA Union President. “She shows her love for children every day as she works with them in so many ways," she said.

Nominees for the Robbinsdale Area Schools Education Assistant of the year must have served in the school district for a minimum of three years and have not been selected as Education Assistant of the Year within the last five years. This is the ninth year Robbinsdale Area Schools has participated in the Education Assistant of the Year program.
