2018 ACT information:

Recently the scores for the ACT test were released and schools now know how their students performed on the ACT test during the 2017-2018 school year.  Armstrong saw some increases in the Reading and Mathematics sections of the ACT test over the previous year.  The score on the math portion increased from 20.6 in 2017 to 20.8 in 2018.  The Reading score increased from 21.5 in 2017 to 21.6 in 2018.  Overall our composite score dropped .1 from 2017 to 21.0 in 2018.  The national composite score is 20.8 and the state composite score is 21.3 dropping from 21.5 in 2017.   Minnesota leads the country in ACT scores and Armstrong compares favorably with Minnesota and Armstrong's  scores in math, reading, science and overall composite score were ahead of the nationally reported scores.  We are working across all grades to improve our ACT scores across all student groups.  Please contact principal David Dahl if you have any questions regarding Armstrong’s performance on the ACT test.

The Advanced Placement (AP) Program is a voluntary program that offers students an opportunity to take one or more college-level courses while still in high school. We are proud to offer a new AP Capstone/Diploma Program starting next year. Armstrong is one of a few schools in Minnesota to be approved for this program, and we are very excited to offer it for our students. Click here to learn more about Advanced Placement.
