ACT Information:

Hello families and students,

This is a reminder that Robbinsdale Area Schools will administer the ACT on Tuesday, March 2. The exam is free for 11th grade students and for 12th grade students who did not take the test during a school day last year.

Students who plan to take the ACT exam must register by Monday, Feb. 15.The form can be found at bit.ly/3atOE1l. Students must also complete an online, non-test portion of the ACT prior to March 2. This will be completed during advisory or can be done on your own time at www.myact.org beginning in mid-February. Submitting this information prior to the exam will allow you to send your test scores to up to four colleges or universities for free.

The ACT is optional and is not a requirement.  This test is not offered virtually, so those who wish to take it must do so in person, at school. The next time the District will offer this test at no cost to students will be in the Spring of 2022.

Students who register for the ACT are the only students who would report to high schools on March 2. Due to health and safety protocols, students will need to wear a face covering while in the building, and fewer students will be allowed in a testing room to ensure social distancing.

Transportation will be provided for students taking the exam. Students who do not need district transportation should report to their high school by 7:15 a.m. Testing will take approximately five hours. These times will vary for students who qualify for accommodations.

A letter with additional details was mailed to homes within the last week. If you did not receive this information - please contact: Arianna Crosby (arianna_crosby@rdale.org or 763-504-8822)
