12 Robbinsdale students selected for state honor choirs

Robbinsdale Area Schools (Rdale) has had 12 students selected for the American Choral Directors Association of Minnesota (ACDA-MN) honor choirs.

Each school year, ACDA-MN organizes seven special honor choirs to provide enriched singing opportunities for students in grades four through 10. More than 2,000 students complete the audition process, and around 900 are selected.

Grade 4-5-6 Honor Choirs

The grade 4-5-6 honor choirs will perform at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at St. Michael/Albertville High School. Tickets are available on the ACDA-MN website.

Grade 9-10 Honor Choirs

  • Beka Burbach, 10th grade, Armstrong High School
  • Izzy Clifton, 10th grade, Armstrong High School
  • Ryan Gardner, ninth grade, Cooper High School
  • Oakin Greiling, 10th grade, Armstrong High School
  • Eyi Howard, 10th grade, Armstrong High School
  • Caidie Kue, ninth grade, Armstrong High School
  • Nate Leflar, 10th grade, Armstrong High School
  • Drea Lind, ninth grade, Armstrong High School
  • Abby Marquis, 10th grade, Armstrong High School

The grade 9-10 honors choirs will perform on Saturday, Feb. 14, at Prior Lake High School. The SATB choir will begin at 4 p.m., with SSAA following at 5:30 p.m. and TTBB performing at 7 p.m. Tickets are available on the ACDA-MN website
