Join Upcoming Reimagine Rdale Community Events in May

As Robbinsdale Area Schools (Rdale) continues planning for the future, the district is entering a new phase of community engagement this spring as part of Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030, and community voice is essential to what comes next.

This phase is designed to build on the work of the Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 Team and ensure students, families, staff, and community members have meaningful opportunities to learn more, ask questions, and help shape the district’s path forward.

That work is already underway.

On April 16, Rdale brought together members of the Vision 2030 Team and district advisory groups for a Vision Team+ Focus Group, followed by a districtwide Community Conversation at Cooper High School April 27. These sessions created space for honest dialogue, thoughtful questions, and important feedback that is already helping to inform the next steps in planning.

Now, the district is inviting the broader community to be part of what comes next.

Upcoming Community Engagement Opportunities

Rdale will host two additional community-wide engagement events in May:

  • Wednesday, May 6 at Armstrong High School, 6:30-8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 13 at Cooper High School, 6:30-8 p.m.

Event formats are being finalized and will be shared soon.

These sessions will provide opportunities for community members to:

  • Learn more about the district’s current reality, including enrollment, finances, and facilities
  • Share perspectives that will help guide future decisions

In addition to these events, the district will continue gathering input through:

  • Staff conversations at each school building
  • Student meetings at the high school level
  • Meetings with groups representing athletics, activities, fine arts, and academics
  • Ongoing engagement with cities and district partners

A Continued Commitment to Community Voice

This spring marks an important transition from visioning to planning. The decisions ahead will shape the future of Robbinsdale Area Schools, and community input will play a critical role in that process.

Rdale remains committed to building the school district our students want, need, and deserve—and that work depends on strong participation from across our community.

We encourage all families, staff, and community members to attend an upcoming session and be part of the conversation.
