WATCH -- Learn More About Rdale’s Building Better Together: 2026 Bond Referendum

Robbinsdale Area Schools (Rdale) is continuing conversations across our seven communities about the Building Better Together: 2026 Bond Referendum and what it could mean for students, schools and the future of the district.

On Aug. 3, district leaders shared a bond referendum presentation with the Rdale Board of Education. Since then, the presentation has been shared with the Plymouth City Council and Brooklyn Center City Council, with additional municipal, civic and community presentations planned in the weeks and months ahead.

The presentation provides a closer look at where Rdale is today and the plan for where we go next. It covers declining enrollment, the district’s financial and facility challenges, the planning and community engagement that led to the referendum, and how the proposal is designed to put students first and better align our schools with enrollment while creating safe, relevant and dynamic learning environments for kids.

It also walks through each of the three questions that will appear on the Nov. 3 ballot, what would be included if each question is approved, estimated tax impacts and the potential decisions the district could face if the referendum is not approved.

At the center of the presentation is a simple goal: putting students first and building a predictable, intentional path forward for Rdale.

We encourage families, staff and community members to watch the presentation and learn more about the proposal before voting on Nov. 3.
